Neuro Boxing & Balance

Neuro Boxing & Balance is being offered twice a year in eight-week sessions. Classes are open to any individual with a neurological impairment. Class begins with cardio warm-up, followed by boxing basics, which addresses balance, strength, motor sequencing, memory, and flexibility. Consists of group boxing on heavy bags and suspended segmented targets. Each class focuses on increasing strength, endurance, balance, motor skills, multi-tasking, cognitive function, and power.
Wednesdays from 10:00-11:00AM

Session II: April - May
The Boxing & Balance class is capped at 12 participants. If class is at capacity, you may elect to be placed on a waitlist until a spot opens up. Drop in classes are available and are available provided class is not at capacity already.

1:1 Intensive Session
Personalized: 1:1 Intensive is a personalized 60-minute session with a licensed physical therapist with martial arts background focused on fall risk and balance assessment, safe floor recovery. Ideal for those who need individual attention or aren’t ready for group participation. Session will be scheduled upon registration.

Dr. Kayce Howard is a dedicated physical therapist with a true passion for helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their daily lives. Known for her patient-centered approach and drive to make therapy both effective and empowering, Dr. Kayce is now expanding her reach beyond the clinic—bringing her expertise to the community through a Neuro Boxing & Balance Class designed to improve coordination, stability, and overall wellness.
Her commitment to movement and resilience extends far beyond physical therapy. A lifelong martial arts enthusiast, Dr. Kayce began training at just 7 years old and has studied a variety of disciplines, including Kempo Karate, Muay Thai, traditional boxing, and most recently, Uechi-Ryu Karate. She brings her therapeutic skills and martial arts background into her classes, creating a unique, engaging, and effective approach to neurological and balance training.
