A Bit About Kayce

Dr. Kayce Howard, is the creator of Northshore Mobility & Wellness, blending expertise with a sprinkle of charm to help patients conquer their physical challenges with a smile. She has over 20 years of experience, practicing in a variety of settings throughout the country treating patients from only a few days old to those in their 100’s. Settling in Massachusetts she worked in local rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and with Mass General Brigham home care before she broke out on her own, starting NSMW in September 2020.

From a young age, Kayce had a passion for sports. Whether it was sprinting down the soccer pitch, shooting hoops, or running marathons she enjoyed the competition. However, along with the love of sports came the inevitable bumps, bruises, and yes, even a few serious injuries. To date the tally is 3 ACL , 3 Meniscectomies, and 1 Total Knee Replacement.  Needless to say, she understands the ups and downs of recovery.  Inspired by her own personal journey of healing, Kayce knew she had found her calling.

She started her education at The University of New England (UNE) earning her Bachelor's degrees in Health Sciences and her Masters degree in Physical Therapy. She continued on, graduating summa cum laude from Northeastern University (NU) with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Kayce holds many additional certifications PWR! Moves certified therapist, certified Fall Prevention Specialist, Dry Needling certified, and soon to be LSVT BIG certified.

She is known for her wealth of knowledge, genuine empathy, infectious energy, and unwavering commitment to her patients' and their families. Her dedication to the profession has earned her the respect and trust of both patients and colleagues alike. Kayce has expertise in various specialties within physical therapy, including orthopedics, sports medicine, neurologic disorders, dementia care, and complex medical geriatrics. She has a compassionate approach to patient care, always striving to create personalized treatment plans to help people reclaim their active lifestyle.

In all her “Free” time she enjoys photography, karate, watching movies, spending time with her family and fur babies, and is always ready for new adventures.
